Rotator reports3 reports · paraphrased
hands-on
  • 19-20Two rotators in 2019/20 described outstanding operative autonomy for a small program, typically 1-on-1 with attendings and walked through cases skin-to-skin. Daily early fracture conference with protected didactics, strong OITE performance, and good fellowship matches were noted. Downsides included heavier call due to program size, limited clinic time, and less research infrastructure.
  • 14-15Rotator in 2014/15 described a trauma-heavy small program of 2 per year, early operative exposure, and strong fellowship placement, particularly in hand. The small class size was noted as a consideration given limited cohort overlap.

Paraphrased from rotator survey responses. Names and identifying details removed.
