  • 24-25Rotators described residents and attendings as friendly and teaching-focused. 4-week rotation spanning consults, specialty clinic, and OR. Primarily shadowing, with substantial face time with each attending and flexibility to join additional attendings when the schedule is light. Some OR scrub-in opportunities (attending-dependent). Daily 7am lectures. Required grand rounds at the rotation end. Required completion of the UMichigan 'The Eyes Have It' modules plus direct ophthalmoscope and slit lamp proficiency check-offs. No call.
  • 23-24Rotators reported a 4-week rotation with friendly residents and variable attending engagement. Strong OR exposure (~50/50 OR/clinic split). Oculoplastics and peds OR described as especially hands-on (including suturing conj and eyelid). Clinic primarily shadowing. Didactics described as solid, with EyeSi access. Grand rounds presentation at rotation end.
