Rotator reports1 report · paraphrased
mixed hands-onpresentation req.
  • 24-25Rotators described a well-organized 4-week rotation spanning subspecialties, consults, and some OR days. Didactics are built into the schedule to teach exam skills, and rotators are lent a lens box and reading materials. Most time is spent in attending clinics or ORs, with shadowing of residents/fellows when present and some opportunities to scrub and examine patients. LOR continuity described as limited given short time with each attending, but not impossible. End-of-rotation presentation inspired by a case from the rotation. Weekend/call shift is optional but encouraged. Schedule adjustments available on request.

Paraphrased from rotator survey responses. Names and identifying details removed.
