  • 25-26Rotators strongly recommended MUSC. Student coordinator described as excellent, arranging subspecialty days plus consults/trauma exposure. One OR day/week at ASCs 15-20 min from the main hospital (rotators don't scrub given resident/fellow presence). Attending clinics are mostly shadowing with attending-dependent exceptions. Residents host social events and welcome rotators to monthly journal club. Emphasis on cultural fit; residents described as collegial. Most away rotators are offered an interview. No pre/post test or grand rounds. Car recommended for satellite sites.
  • 23-24Rotators described a broad-exposure rotation with welcoming, teaching-focused attendings.

Paraphrased from rotator survey responses. Names and identifying details removed.
