I'm Danny Varghese, an MS3 at Texas A&M College of Medicine, Class of 2027.
When I started thinking about residency, I did what every med student does — downloaded the Charting Outcomes PDF, opened a spreadsheet, and tried to figure out my chances. It was slow, confusing, and I kept second-guessing the math.
So I built the tool I wished existed.
Rezumab started as a simple match probability calculator for ophthalmology. It used published NRMP data and a logistic regression model trained on 1,496 residents. Then I expanded it to 22 specialties, added a program explorer with data on 5,868 programs, built a map view, and kept going.
Everything on Rezumab is free. No paywall, no premium tier, no gated features. Match anxiety shouldn't cost money.
Every number on this site comes from published, peer-reviewed sources: NRMP Charting Outcomes, Advance Data Tables, AUPO/SFMatch data, and published research on program characteristics. I don't make up statistics or use proprietary algorithms with hidden inputs. The methodology is explained on each calculator page.
This is not medical advice. It's not a guarantee. A probability is a population-level estimate — your actual outcome depends on your interviews, personal statement, letters, and a hundred other things no calculator can measure. Use Rezumab as one data point among many, and always talk to your advisors.
Feedback, bug reports, feature requests — I read everything. Email me at rezumab.med@gmail.com.
